Chance
08–10–25This video installation emerges from a journey toward an abandoned space, where fragments of sound and image were collected as traces of encounter. Within the installation, these photographs and field recordings are recomposed through looping and algorithmic randomness, generating an ever-shifting sequence that resists fixed narrative.
The work explores the tension between repetition and chance—how meaning accumulates through the act of layering and reconfiguration. Each loop functions as both an archive and an erasure, questioning what it means to document presence within spaces that have been forgotten. Through the interplay of sound and image, the piece reflects and shows the idea of “replay”, and how the process of how we archive what we see and hear in different ways.
