Inspired by the concept of merging the natural world with technology and reimagining what is considered artificial or reality, The Pond is a project that emerged from a light installation to a interactive screen based experience for ARTECHOUSE’S SUBMERGE Project.
The installation captures the audience's movements—such as waving in front of the pond—and utilizes AI to simulate the ripple effects of a real pond along with the change of audio in space.

Fieldwork
06–07–24
Link to view projectFieldwork is inspired by the research and idea of sounds that come from signals, flows, and memories of both my hometown, Taipei, and New York City, where I currently reside. Constructed with three different scenes and samples that I am attracted to in both my memories of the cities and some noises that represent the blurriness of their existence, the real-time performance shows how I felt while experiencing the in-betweenness through sound and visuals that are meant to be more cohesive.

Spring Worm Worm

Link to view project[ SPRING, WORM, WORM ] is an immersive performance installation that merges digital storytelling, projection-based scenography, and immersive soundscapes. It explores themes of fluid identities, femininity, and the ritualistic transformation of bodies. Through digital projections, interactive installations, and performative encounters, the piece tells a visual fairy tale about the unsettling truth, absurd fables, and cyclical nature of existence.

An empty container with possibilities of placing and replacing. I move through the void with expansive gestures. The emptiness of the box is a pure potential. My body becomes weightless, suspended between possibilities while moving in between spaces of imagination and reality.

Unity
12–30–23The body is an interface between experience and environment. Music influences movement of body and experience of mind. What if we can reverse this? Experience and expression through movement modifies environment — feedback in both directions, via body and movement as interface. We consider the body, the mind, the environmental space, is constantly having interactions and relationships between each other. Our project Unity, experiments with possible elements, forms, and structures through constant interactions between the sound, body, and space.
